Lincolnshire wedding photography at The White Hart, Lincoln - Sophie & Rob
The lovely couple Sophie & Rob booked me for half day coverage at the White Hart Hotel in Lincoln’s Bailgate, but we managed to cram lots in to the half a day. I started with Sophie at the White Hart towards the end of the bridal prep whilst Scott got some snaps at the church next door whilst Rob and the wedding guests started to arrive.
Their wedding ceremony was at St Magdalen’s Church, right next door to the White Hart, so it was the perfect combination of venues and nobody had to worry about transport in between. It was also extremely convenient for me as I live a ten minute walk from the Bailgate, one of the only weddings I’ve been able to walk to! Scott and I may have ended up in Beerheadz after the wedding, the craft beer pub across the street. We couldn’t just walk past without popping in for a cheeky one or two.
The White Hart is a gorgeous hotel for a smaller wedding, the Lincoln Bailgate Location is perfect, non local guests can stay at the hotel, or there are plenty of other hotels in the city, as well as the transport benefits of being in the city. You don’t have to worry about travel for guests at all. You are also in the prettiest area of Lincoln, which is ideal for some photos of the two of you.
The White Hart is currently closed for renovations, due to reopen very soon, I’m looking forward to seeing the results.
