Best of 2022

Some of my favourites from the fabulous year that was 2022.

It was so hard to narrow down to share my ‘best of’, so rather than choosing 10 or 20 of my very best images, I’ve got together all of my favourite shots from lots of different 2022 weddings. I may have missed some corkers, I may have included some that aren’t technically perfect, but here are some of my favourites, for whatever reason.

I’ve had the privilege of being asked to photograph some amazing weddings at some amazing venues this year, a lot of first times for me. It was my first time at Thicket Priory, Stubton Hall, Leftbank Leeds, The West Mill, Nunsmere Hall, The Depot Islington, Secret River Garden Twickenham and others. I also returned to some lovely venues including Washingborough Hall, The Camberwell Arms, The White Hart Lincoln, among others. I’ve done some incredible marquee weddings on private land too.

I’ll keep the text minimum but if anyone is reading this who has been a part of my 2022 wedding photography journey then thank you. A massive, massive thank you to everybody who has trusted me to photograph their wedding, it is honestly the biggest privilege! Thank you to all of the other suppliers who have brought everything together to create these perfect weddings, making these shots possible and also a humungous thank you to the wonderful photographers who have second shot for me, and those who have invited me to second shoot with them.

So instead of my ‘best of 2022’ here are ‘a lot of photographs I’ve taken at weddings in 2022, some good, some probably average but all filled with love and fuelled by love’

Thanks for looking! My advice for those getting married - pick a photographer who you trust to fully document your day, get loads of confetti, have fun and don’t listen to the rules!
