Lincolnshire wedding photography at Blankney Church - a DIY marquee wedding - Becky & Tom
I was thrilled when Becky & Tom asked me to photograph their wedding. I’ve photographed two of Becky’s friend’s weddings in the past, each wedding has had the same bridesmaids who are the very best of friends, so it’s such a compliment and and honour to be asked back by the group.
Becky & Tom had a completely DIY marquee wedding on their friend’s private land in Lincolnshire. I started the day with Becky & her bridesmaids whilst Karl met Tom and his mates at a pub in Metheringham to document the pre ceremony shenanigans, we then moved on to Blankey Church for a beautiful ceremony, followed by a good old knees up in a marquee in Ashby de la Launde. It was such a good party.
Becky’s mum had arranged for surprise singing waiters that even Becky & Tom themselves didn’t know about, it was hilarious when the guy serving the sausage rolls burst into song.
Here are a few faves from Becky & Tom’s DIY Lincolnshire wedding.
Their known suppliers were:

I like to include a lot of photographs in my blogs, rather than just selecting the absolute best few, to give viewers a good overview of the wedding gallery, so you’ll find images from each part of the day. Please do scroll down to see photos from the wedding ceremony, drinks reception, speeches, relaxed portraits of the couple and the party, after the prep and pre ceremony photos.
This is still only roughly 10% of the full wedding gallery.
