York wedding photography at Thicket Priory - Jacqueline & Dan

Wedding photography at Thicket Priory.

This was my first time at Thicket Priory and I loved it. There was lots of natural light coming in through the windows throughout the building (lets be honest, that’s the main thing us photographers like) as well as gorgeous grounds and the building itself. Thicket Priory is so photogenic that the photos pretty much took themselves.

Jax & Dan have a very cute one year old and many of their friends have young children so there were lots of little ones running around. They had ensured that there was plenty to keep the little and big guests entertained with a soft play area and lots of garden games, that were taken full advantage of. Jax & Dan hired a nanny to come to look after baby Connor for the day, which meant they could enjoy their day fully and him still be present, a great idea for those with young children who need constant attention.

The combination of lots of games and children meant we ended up loads of fun filled photos, it ended up being a huge wedding photography gallery. Lots for guests to do = lots of photo opportunities!

If you hold your wedding at Thicket Priory, you are sure to get amazing photographs.
