Lincolnshire wedding photography - A Boston church wedding blessing and garden reception - Promise & Nsikak

Promise and Nsikak’s wedding left me feeling filled with love. Their friends were such a lovely lot and so warm and welcoming to me. They had originally booked me for their November 2020 ceremony, but unfortunately their wedding couldn’t go as planned due to one of those pesky covid lockdowns (2020, eh!). However, they managed to escape to Nigeria to do their official wedding and then had a marriage blessing back home in Boston, Lincolnshire when restrictions had eased in July. I had met Promise on a Zoom meeting and she was so lovely, I was really excited for their wedding blessing.

Promise & Nsikak got ready together at home with their friends, it was so lovely that they were both together and Nsikak actually drilled a hole into the wall in their garden so we could get some shots of Promise’s dress hanging up and even helped her into her shoes. He’s a keeper!

The wedding was at Holy Trinity Church, the three of us then went to a special location for some portraits of the bride and groom before heading back to their home for the barbecue and reception. I say ‘special location’ not because I’m secretive about giving out the location we used but because I genuinely can’t remember where it was. I had researched it beforehand and went to check it out before the ceremony and it was beautiful, but don’t ask me where it was because I have no idea!

The reception was such a fun and relaxed do, just my kind of wedding.

Here are some of my faves from their day:

Please do book me to be your Lincolnshire wedding photographer if you like these photographs. Cheers!
