Eve & Ashley’s wedding at Stubton Hall was a dream to photograph! This was my first time at the lovely Stubton Hall in Nottinghamshire, close to the Lincolnshire border. It was a beautifully sunny October day, the light at the time of doing the couples portraits was just gorgeous so the photographs pretty much took themselves.

Stubton Hall is an exclusive wedding venue, so you’ll have the whole place to yourselves, the main reception room is large so can accommodate medium and large weddings without feeling at all cramped. The vast indoor space means you don’t have to rely on the weather being good to make good use of the venue, Eve and Ashley’s day was glorious but it wouldn’t have mattered at all if it had been cold and rainy.

I met Eve and her girl gang in the morning at Stubton Hall to capture shots of them getting ready, the bridal suite was a great space to take documentary shots of them, the natural light spilling in through the big windows. Everything about this venue and this wedding was incredibly photogenic.
