Every good wedding starts with a photo of the cat.

Joey and Conan had a small wedding on Christmas Eve, which also happened to be Joey’s 30th Birthday! They decided to go with a no fuss ceremony with only closest family members and have a party with all their friends at a later date.

The weather couldn’t have been better! It was a sunny day, we got some of that gorgeous soft winter sun that doesn’t show it’s face too often around Christmas time.

I started at their house with Joey and a few family members, including Conan’s lovely daughter, Delilah. This meant I could get a few snaps of them before the ceremony as well as some detail shots of Joey’s stunning wedding dress and a few other details. It was lovely to get the Christmas feel in the images with the Christmas tree and decorations up. These morning shots really help tell the story of the day and are so great to look back on.

It was lovely to be able to get some shots of Joey with their adorable dog, Ozzy, too.

After the ceremony we went up to the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral to get some photographs of the happy couple together.
