Children's birthday party photography, Orin's 3rd birthday
In October it was Orin's 3rd birthday party, (see earlier blog for his birthday photo session at the park). The party was jungle themed so his mum, Jennifer had the job of turning the house into a jungle! The results were awesome, she did an amazing job!
Before the guests arrived I spent some time with Orin playing in the garden and got some fun portraits of him on his own.
I feel very lucky to have been able to capture the following portraits of Orin. As a lifestyle photographer I get really involved with photographing children on the go, playing and doing activities. It isn't often a child will sit still and let me photograph them so closely. I think it helped that I'd already spent some time playing with Orin (and have photographed him before) so I wasn't a stranger to him.
It's party time! Orin's mum, Jennifer, did a great job at kitting the house out Jungle style. There were parrots and monkeys hanging around and the crocodile cake was amazing!
